What is Altar Guild?

The Guild's main purpose is to care for the Altar, the sacramental vessels and linens.  Communionware is placed on the altar when there is Holy Communion.  The Guild also prepares the items and fills the font for Holy Baptsim.  Members of the Guild, along with any interested congregational members, decorate the church for holidays, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.

New banners and paraments are made or purchased by the Guild when needed.  The Altar Guild also changes the banners and paraments to correspond with the proper color of the season.
