Men's Bible Study
Monday Mornings, 6:30 a.m. - "Science and the Savior" - This study tracks the progress of science and people's fascinations and fears about science. Each session introduces a contemporary topic, summarizes what science has to say about it, and then provides Biblical answers and guidance so that you can face the future with the wisdom and confidence that only God provides.
Wednesday Morning Bible Class
Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. - "Foundations of Faith: The Apostles' Creed" - We are examining the teachings of the catechism and related Bible background from which the teachings are drawn.
Adult Bible Study
Sunday Mornings, 10:30 A.M. - "How We Got the Bible" - This DVD series with Dr. Paul Maier considers the vast assemblage of documents forming the 66 books of the Bible we have today. Originally penned in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, remarkably from beginning to end, the books of the Bible declare -- sometimes in minute detail -- the saving promise God made to a sinful world that one day His own Son would atone for the sins of all mankind. And this, of course, He fulfilled through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. Dr. Maier is joined with insights by other Lutheran Biblical scholars.
